Golden House is a tiny little takeaway sandwiched between another takeaway and a big Mediterranean restaurant, and it looks like the sort of place you might avoid for fear of intestinal distress. As it turns out, they are both safe AND inexpensive, so brave the exterior to discover what's inside.

They don't have a menu available online, at least not in English, so you'll have to stop by for a paper menu, but the service is fast, so you won't be waiting for long. The food will not quite be up to the par of a sit-down restaurant, but if you're craving fried rice or sweet and sour chicken, it's good value for the price.
